Dannie Dinh
Program Manager, Food for Humanity Initiative
Dannie Dinh is a Program Manager at the Food for Humanity Initiative at the Columbia Climate School. Dannie implements projects to improve local adaptive capacity and food and nutrition security through access to knowledge, technologies, and decision-making tools to strengthen resilience in the face of climate change. Dannie is co-leading the Columbia Climate School Earth Network: Climate Education for a Resilient Future.
Previously at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI), Dannie developed education/training frameworks, designed and created training content, and implemented research activities for IRI Academy for Climate Services and other projects. As a member of the Climate Society Community Outreach pro bono working group at IRI, Dannie contributed to programming and developing materials for local K-12, and public education and outreach efforts.
Dannie holds an M.A in Climate and Society degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, a M.P.A in Environmental Science and Policy degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science degree from Baylor University.
