Life cycle assessment of food enables the quantitative comparison of environmental impacts of alternative choices across the life cycle of food. In this session, Dr. Andrew Berardy, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, discussed solutions for sustainable food systems throughout the life cycle of food, including production and behavior change as well as the potential role of artificial intelligence.
